What began 20 years ago in the game room of our home has grown into the largest local news organization in Texas—and that growth is only possible because of readers like you who value trusted, local journalism. 

Our mission has always been simple: to inform you about the news and information that matters most to your community, so you can better understand and engage with the place you call home. That mission continues to guide everything we do at Community Impact, and it fuels our excitement for what lies ahead.

As we look toward 2026, we’re energized by the big plans in front of us. From continuing to expand our local coverage to investing in our journalists and developing new ways to connect you with the people, places, and stories shaping our community; we can’t wait to share what’s to come.
