Plano residents will now see city enforcement of a no parking zone along a section of 10th street in downtown Plano.

The gist: The city placed no parking signs Sept. 1 along a section of 10th street near Iron Avenue, and is located near the DART Silver Line.

The background: Plano City Council approved the zone Aug. 24 at a regular meeting. DART’s Silver Line opened in October 2025, which included the 12th Street and Shiloh Road stations in Plano.

A new cafe aimed at serving the office community in Plano’s Willow Bend area is set to open in October.

The specifics: Café Olivita will be a “smaller-format” location from Café Olivia, which has locations in Dallas and Addison, according to a news release from the company. The cafe will be located inside the office building at 2400 Dallas Parkway.

Café Olivita will feature a “wellness-focused” menu that includes sandwiches, salads, the grain bowl, miso salmon and more. The drink options include a variety of coffee, tea and matcha drinks along with cocktails and wine.

1. Vidorra serves soft serve margaritas, fajitas in Grapevine: The Mexican restaurant’s menu includes fajitas, enchiladas, street tacos, flautas and housemade guacamole. Diners can also order molcajete bowls, such as the queso blanco or parrillada en fuego, which is an assortment of meat and vegetables. Vidorra’s drink menu has a variety of cocktails, including a soft serve margarita, which mixes a frozen margarita and soft serve ice cream, and la isla dorada. The restaurant also offers a weekend brunch.
