Embro Identity now offering embroidery service in New Braunfels
From custom designs to work clothes, a new home-based embroidery business is now open in New Braunfels.
Some background: Embro Identity—owned by Halyna Hostetler—opened July 25 after Hostetler moved from California to Texas.
Hostetler is a native Ukrainian who moved to the United States over 40 years ago. She said she is doing everything can to help support her community from abroad.
“We donate 20% of all profits to families affected by the war in Ukraine,” Hostetler said.
What they offer: Embro Identity offers stitching for hats, shirts, nursing scrubs and company uniforms. The business serves the New Braunfels and surrounding area.
Top Notch Truck and Trailer to relocate in New Braunfels
A local vehicle outfitter and repair shop has plans to relocate in New Braunfels soon.
What you need to know: Top Notch Truck and Trailer will be relocating from 3702 I-35 S., Ste. 111 to 1247 Watson Lane E. in October, according to shop staff.
What they offer: The truck repair and upgrade service offers general vehicle maintenance. Top Notch Truck and Trailer also has certified installers for DrawTite, B&W and Blue Ox—specializing in RV, 5th wheel and gooseneck hitches, according to its website.
The business also offers bed liners, hitches, toolboxes, lift kits and more.
Fourth flyover ramp opens at Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange
A new flyover ramp, connecting drivers to eastbound Loop 1604 to eastbound I-10, at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange, opened on Sept. 13.
The gist: Part of the Texas Department of Transportation, TxDOT, Loop 1604 North Expansion project, the new flyover ramp is the fourth ramp to open at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange. Drivers can enter the ramp near La Cantera Parkway before the De Zavala Road exit.
According to a news release, this is the fourth flyover ramp to open in the past nine months.
All eight flyovers are expected to be open by the end of 2026, according to a news release.
The background: Once complete, the five-level interchange will consist of eight flyover ramps, roundabouts, an HOV lane and other interchange improvements.
