Young Makers Market, live music: 5 things to do in The Woodlands area, Sept. 5-7

The Woodlands Arts Council presents an event with young artists sharing their works, and a number of live music events are scheduled in several venues in The Woodlands this weekend. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.

Live music at the Pavilion
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is hosting several live performances this weekend, including Parker McCollum on Sept. 6 and Kidz Bop on Sept. 7.

Kevin Brady Library and Community Center opens to the public in The Woodlands

The Kevin Brady Library and Community Center officially opened with a ribbon-cutting Sept. 2 at 2250 Buckthorne Place, The Woodlands, ushering in a new era for the Grogan's Mill Village Center.

What you need to know: Several hundred community members gathered at the library Sept. 2 to hear from Kevin Brady, as well as Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler, County Judge Mark Keough and Aaron Cox, president and CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event.

What they're saying: "This is a place where young people will learn to love to read," Brady, who represented Texas' 8th Congressional District from 1997 until 2023, said at the opening. "This is a place where our community volunteers and organizations will meet and gather and plan and celebrate together, and it is a great place for visitors coming to our community."

St. Paul’s 2025 Fall Festival and Craft Show
