Completed projects
Fairway Drive, Grapevine
Project: The new road, with a roundabout, near Cowboys Golf Club and Silver Lake Marina and a center turn lane between Northwest Highway and Grapevine Lake dam, which connects to the recreation area at the lake.
Update: The new road and trail from SH 26 to the Grapevine Lake Dam was opened Nov. 26.

  • Timeline: March to November
  • Cost: $3.5 million
  • Funding sources: federal funds, transportation development credits

Upcoming project
Sidewalk repairs, Trophy Club

Project: Skyline Drive sidewalk will be connected with Panorama Circle; 13 other streets will have pinpoint repairs or be replaced.
Update: Manning Concrete was awarded a contract to repair 14 streets, part of an interlocal agreement with Grapevine, during the Dec. 8 meeting.
  • Timeline: work could start in early 2026
  • Cost: not to exceed $200,000
  • Funding sources: FY 2024-25 Street Improvement Project, FY 2025-26 Street Improvement Project

Family Tire and Automotive Service in Grapevine changes business name

Family Tire and Automotive Service in Grapevine is rebranding to Concourse Auto Service to match the current Concourse Auto Service shop under the same ownership, said Vince Taylor, the operations manager for both locations.

What's happening? Family Tire and Automotive Service is receiving new signs with its new name, he said. The shops will remain open and the business is having a grand reopening in early January.

Owner Cody Jones purchased Family Tire and Automotive Service in 2020 and Concourse Auto Service in 2023, Taylor said.

GameStop closes lone location in Grapevine

GameStop, headquartered in Grapevine, no longer has an anchor store in town.

The GameStop location in Grapevine Mills closed Dec. 12.

The details: The store sold Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch games and systems; baseball cards; Pokemon cards; toys; plushies; clothing; and accessories.

A closer look: The closest location to the company’s headquarters, at 625 Westport Parkway, on West Glade Road, near the collinear point of Grapevine, Euless and Colleyville.
