Restaurant and entertainment venue The Hub is closed in Allen, founder and CEO Brad Zeitlin said, in an email.

The details: The Hub opened in 2022 within mixed-use development The Farm near SH 121. The restaurant offered a variety of food and beverage options, including tacos, chicken fingers, burgers fries, margaritas, beer and more, per its website. The Hub also hosted events.

“The total spend in the submarket is not adequate to support the current concept, causing the challenges we faced,” Zeitlin said.

Looking ahead: Another group has plans for the location, however there is no more information available at this time, Zeitlin said.

1. Burney Lane/Midway Road rehabilitation
Project: The work will cover the rehabilitation of around 2,950 linear feet of Burney Lane/Midway Road from the intersection of Lonesome Dove Road in Southlake until Meadowmere Lane in Grapevine, according to city documents.
Update: Grapevine City Council approved an interlocal agreement with Tarrant County for the project during a July 7 meeting.

Fort Worth-based American Airlines plans to open its largest Admirals Club lounge within Terminal C at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, according to a news release.

"We're investing in every stage of the premium travel journey at DFW, beginning the moment customers arrive at the airport," American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden said in the news release.

New Terminal C Admirals Club
The new Admirals Club in Terminal C, which will be located near the terminal’s Skylink station, will be 37,000 square feet, per the news release.

The space will include a variety of seating options and workspaces.

Provisions by Admirals Club

The Provisions by Admirals Club will be a new grab-and-go kiosk option for travelers within Terminal F. The new terminal’s initial phase will include a 400,000-square-foot building and 15 gates, according to previous reporting.

Flagship check-in

A new check-in experience will open later this year near Gate D30. Eligible customers will be able to take advantage of the dedicated check-in area for flights.
