Doug Weiss is leading the Pflugerville mayoral runoff election after receiving 55.42% of the early votes, according to unofficial early results, while Pat McCord has received 44.58%.

Overview: A total of 4,338 votes have been cast so far, with 0 of 7 vote centers reporting as of Saturday evening. Results will continue to update as additional ballots are counted. The runoff followed the Nov. 4 general election, in which no candidate secured a majority of the vote. In that election, Weiss and McCord advanced to the runoff after finishing first and second with 47.38% and 34.55%, respectively.

Of the 53,766 Travis County voters eligible to vote in one of the county's two elections—for the Pflugerville mayor or the Leander council member—5,358, or 9.97% turned out to vote.
