New flexible business park coming to Prosper

Local businesses in Prosper could see a new workspace option coming soon.

What happened: At a Jan. 13 meeting, Prosper Town Council voted unanimously to approve a new flexible business park located at the intersection of West Prosper Trail and Mike Howard Lane. The property is described as a “high-quality flex industrial campus designed to accommodate a diverse mix of light industrial, warehouse and office users,” according to town documents.

Zooming in: The facility allows a variety of uses, including professional and medical offices, as well as dance studios and retail stores. Construction on the facility is expected to take about a year, according to town documents.

A winter storm watch is in effect for the Dallas-Fort Worth area with sleet expected to begin Friday night.
