King Road construction to begin in 2026 through Frisco, Little Elm

Construction on King Road in Frisco is set to begin in early 2026 after a vote by City Council Nov. 18.

The details: Construction on King Road will take place about 280 feet west of Witt Road to Rose Lane. King Road will be four lanes between Witt Road and Anthem Drive, and three lanes between Anthem Drive and Rose Lane when completed.

City Council unanimously approved an agreement with the town of Little Elm, as well as Denton County, to pay for the construction as part of its consent agenda Nov. 18.

Too Thai Street Eats is set to open soon in Frisco.

What they offer: The restaurant features Thailand cuisine, including noodles dishes such as pad Thai and pad see ew, grilled and fried meats, curries and rice dishes. Menu items also include hot pot, noodle soups and desserts like mango sticky rice.
