Bibliobar to expand its bookstore selections, offer third space in Plano

A local Plano bookstore is planning to relocate to a larger space in mid-October, store Owner Chelsea Tresp said.

A new chapter: Bibliobar is upgrading its space from a roughly 900 square-foot space to a new 2,000 square-foot building in downtown Plano, Tresp said.

Staying local: Bibliobar started as a pop-up shop in 2017 before its first location in 2023. Its current location has been open since March 2025.

In other news: Tresp is keeping the space where Bibliobar is currently located, she said, but it will run as a new business.

“What is now a bookshelf will be a rack that people can rent out,” she said.
