1. The Imperial Room
The Imperial Room, a new concept cocktail lounge owned and operated by PILF Restaurant group, is opening in The Star district in Frisco in early September. The cocktail lounge is set to take over the space formerly occupied by ice cream shop Cow Tipping Creamery.

2. Chubby Skewers
Chinese barbecue restaurant chain Chubby Skewers will open a new location in Frisco next year. The restaurant specializes in Northeastern Chinese style street food, featuring customer-cooked skewers with a variety of meats, seafood and other crispy bites.

3. Moxies
Moxies, a Canadian-based fine dining brand with two existing locations in Southlake and Plano, is planning a new location in Frisco, a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing revealed.

PT Solutions Physical Therapy and Texas Health have partnered to expand outpatient rehabilitation services across North Texas this summer.

The gist: According to a July 20 news release, three retail physical therapy clinics in Frisco, Plano and Dallas now operate under the name PT Solutions as part of Texas Health Resources. The launch marks the company’s first phase of a broader collaboration between the two organizations, a Texas Health news release states.

What it means: The new PT Solutions clinics are designed to complement Texas Health’s existing hospital-based network and on-campus therapy services by providing patients a wider choice in where they can receive care, per the release. By offering therapy locations where patients work and live, “the clinics help reduce barriers, such as travel time, that can impact long-term outcomes,” the release states.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ real estate firm has sold the 17 Cowboys Way office building in The Star District in Frisco.

Blue Star Land Services sold the 313,417-square-foot, 11-story Class A+ office building to Massachusetts-based Hobbs Brook Real Estate, or HBRE. The acquisition marks the company's entry into the Texas market, according to an Hobbs Brook news release.

What they’re saying: “We are pleased to establish a presence in Texas with the acquisition of 17 Cowboys Way, a premier office asset within one of the country’s most dynamic mixed-use environments,” HBRE President and CEO Peter Gottlieb said in the release. “Frisco continues to emerge as a leading corporate destination, and this property—anchored by a high-quality tenant roster, strong occupancy and a differentiated amenity base—is well-positioned to deliver durable long-term performance.”

1. Pershing Drive utilities and roadway replacement
Project: Pershing Drive in Denton is receiving new water and wastewater lines, new roadway and portions of the sidewalk are being replaced. Denton voters approved the project as part of the Neighborhood 1B bond package.
Update: Crews are working to replace the driveway, curb and gutter with final paving to follow.
