A new JETSET Pilates franchise location, owned by Becky Chidester, opened for preview classes on Sept. 11 at the Arboretum in Northwest Austin. A full grand opening celebration is scheduled for Oct. 3.

What they offer: The studio features 16 custom reformers and offers 50-minute full-body workout classes set to DJ-curated playlists. Patrons can choose from several class types, including the signature Jetsetter Reformer class, which combines strength training, cardio and pilates-inspired movements using a customized reformer machine.

Learn more: Founding memberships went on sale starting July 9. The founding monthly unlimited membership is $179, and the 10-class package is $199.

Domain Northside is celebrating its 10-year anniversary of retail, restaurants and entertainment in Northwest Austin. The mixed-use development features tenants such as Apple, Brandy Melville, YETI, Tecovas, Nike and Skims, alongside dining options like Velvet Taco and Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill.

One more thing: To celebrate the milestone, Domain Northside is hosting photo opportunities, including The ReDial, a photo booth and time-machine concept located between Suitsupply and Vuori, and another photo spot next to YETI.

What’s next: According to a news release, the center will continue growing with new tenants, events and programming following the anniversary.

Fabian Cuero and Troy Evanovich are running for Place 6 on the Round Rock ISD board of trustees this November.

Zooming out: Cuero was appointed to the board in September 2025 following the resignation of sitting Place 6 trustee Tiffanie Harrison.

Early voting runs from Oct. 19-30, and Election Day is Nov. 3.

To cast votes for a U.S. senator, governor, state attorney general and dozens of other races during the Nov. 3 midterm election, Texans must ensure they are registered to vote or have submitted an application by Oct. 5.

How it works: To be eligible to register to vote, an individual must:

• Be a U.S. citizen

• Reside in the county they apply to vote in

• Be at least 18 years old by Election Day

• Not have been declared mentally incapacitated without the right to vote by a court

Getting registered: Eligible Texans must submit a paper voter registration application by Oct. 5. The online form must be printed, signed and mailed to the applicant's local elections office.

One more thing: Voters who are already registered have through Oct. 5 to update their name or address, if needed.

Some voters may appear on the state "suspense" list if local officials cannot confirm their address, although they will still be able to vote in the election.
