St. Luke's Health-Springwoods Village Hospital celebrates 10 years in Spring

St. Luke's Health-Springwoods Village campus announced they are celebrating 10 years in operations in the Spring area this year.

The details: According to a Feb. 5 news release, St. Luke's Health-Springwoods Village campus originally opened in 2016 offering a variety of services including diagnostics and outpatient surgeries. Since opening, the clinic has added additional services including newer imaging capabilities and additional emergency services.

In their words: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate ten years of fulfilling our promise to bring exceptional care to Spring,” Hospital President Jim Parisi said. “This milestone reflects the dedication of our amazing team and the incredible support we've received from our community. We look forward to many more years of healing and compassionate care for those we serve.”

Playa Bowls to open new location in Springs Crossing

Per a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation listing, Playa Bowls has plans to open a new location in the Spring area.

The details: The 1,435-square-foot project is a build out for a smoothie and fruit bowl quick service restaurant, according to the filing. Construction will begin in March and be completed by June 1, per TDLR.

What they offer: Playa Bowls serves health conscious treats including açaí bowls, cold pressed juices, smoothies and cold brews. Smoothies offered include:

  • Strawberry banana
  • Matcha
  • Green smoothie

In addition, Playa Bowls offers over 40 flavors of smoothie bowls from mango and coconut to banana cinnamon.
