Frisco City Council to vote on Trader Joe’s mixed-use district

Frisco officials will vote on a nearly 10-acre Trader Joe’s anchored mixed-use development during an Oct. 6 city council meeting.

What to know: The proposed development would be located at the southwest corner of Majestic Gardens Drive and Main Street, with the 12,500-square-foot Trader Joe's placed at the corner of the site and a 158-unit senior living facility on the southern portion.

Trader Joe’s officials first confirmed they were considering a Frisco location in October 2025. The project was initially delayed by zoning challenges and later tabled by City Council, as city officials said more discussion was needed before a decision could be made.
