Claw Haven
The Asian-style claw arcade is owned by Michael Lu, Bradley Wong, Vicky Lee and Peter Song. Claw Haven has a variety of claw machines with prizes including Pokémon plushies, POPMART Labubus and BABYTHREE Blind Boxes. The goal for Claw Haven is for every visitor to leave feeling like a winner, according to the company's website.

Phat Tracks Books & Records is now open in Cedar Park, offering a selection of books, vinyls, CDs, and cassettes. The store opened its doors to customers on Dec. 6 said owner Thomas West. 

The context: West previously told Community Impact he wanted to curate an inventory of media that other retailers overlooked. He was inspired to open the business after he and his wife had difficulty finding books that fit their respective interests. 

The details: The store sells a range of banned books, underground music and events, according to its website, and will soon host local bands for live performances, West said. 

Some of the bestselling items at the new book and music store include horror books and cassette tapes.

Coca-Cola’s Sips & Sounds Music Festival is returning to Austin on March 13-14 with a range of featured artists including Christina Aguilera and Calvin Harris. The two-day event will showcase performances from 16 different artists, as stated in a news release.

The details: Community members can find two-day and one-day general admission tickets in addition to two-day and one-day general admission plus tickets. Event-goers can look forward to immersive activations throughout the festival and local food vendors.

Performing artists include Flipturn, GROUPLOVE, The Two Lips, Foster The People, Jade LeMac, Aidan Bissett, Mallrat, Skateland, Caroline Hale, The Runarounds, Between Friends, Stephen Sanchez, Ravyn Lenae and Major Lazer Soundsystem.
