The details: Blair has a 258-vote lead from early voting totals in Travis and Williamson counties.

The background: In November, neither Blair nor Yelaun received more than 50% of the vote, necessitating a runoff. 

The council seat was made available when outgoing council member David McDonald announced his resignation in July.
