116 homes sold, other local Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake real estate data

In February, there were over 110 homes sold across Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake, according to data from the MetroTex Association of Realtors.

The details: The total number of homes sold was 116 in February 2026, a 9.38% decrease from the 128 sold in February 2025.

A total of 203 homes were newly listed for sale across the market in February 2026 compared to 215 listed last year, a 5.58% decrease.

Baseball Lifestyle 101 to bring baseball apparel to Grapevine Mills

Baseball Lifestyle 101 is coming to Grapevine Mills.

A coming soon banner has been posted for the vacant spot near Entry 1.

The details: According to its website, Baseball Lifestyle 101 was founded by Josh Shapiro in 2013 to grow the game of baseball. What started as an Instagram page is now the country’s top-selling off-field baseball apparel company.

The company sells clothing for adults and children, featuring a variety of collections, including swim trunks, blueprints, ice cream, the World Baseball Classic, various holidays, and collaborations with Realtree, Monopoly, Backyard Baseball, and the Savannah Bananas.

The background: The clothing line had been sold in sporting goods stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Scheels and Academy, opening its first location in 2024, according to its website.

Baseball Lifestyle 101 now has six stores in five states. The only other Texas location is at The Galleria in Houston.

The store will move into a spot that has been vacant since Torrid closed on Feb. 15, according to previous reporting.

4 projects approved at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport during March board meeting

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Board approved spending an additional $1.2 million to ensure the Rental Car Center renovation is completed ahead of the World Cup.

That was one of four items approved during the March 5 board meeting held at DFW Airport headquarters.

Rental Car Center renovation: James R. Thompson Inc., from Dallas, was awarded the work on the Rental Car Center master renovation for the front of house for all rental car tenants and to replace and upgrade the HVAC systems.

Due to delays associated with the change in market shares of rental car companies, additional resources are required to implement the changes and to accelerate the work, according to board documents.

The first game in Dallas Stadium is the Netherlands vs. Japan on June 14.

Runway rehabilitation: Runway 18L-36R, constructed in 1974 when the airport opened, handles 50% of all departures on the west side of the airport, according to board documents.

An engineering assessment identified the need for rehabilitation for the runaway.

The Japanese fast-casual dining chain features a do-it-yourself teppanyaki concept with meals served on 500-degree Fahrenheit hot plates, allowing customers to cook their food to their preference at the table. The menu offers pepper rice dishes, teriyaki options, steaks, seafood, curry, pasta and vegetarian options.

Family-owned Venezia’s Pizza Cafe prioritizes hospitality in Richardson

As a family-owned and -operated business, the Krasniqi family places high priority on providing a family-friendly environment at Venezia’s Pizza Cafe.

Co-owner Mandy Krasniqi said their Chilean seabass, which is one of her favorite dishes, takes top ranking on the popularity chart at their Richardson restaurant.
