A new girls’ soccer and futsal academy is now open in Leander. Fierce United is now offering training for players ages 6-18, according to the business’ Chief Financial Officer Steve Keckler.

What they offer: Fierce United is a women-led girls soccer organization in the Austin area. Beyond soccer, players will also be trained in futsal, which is played indoors with five players on a side instead of 11.

The new Leander facility offers 10,000 square feet of playing surface and 1,000 square feet of athletic workout area with weight equipment. The building also features a second-story spectator mezzanine, Keckler said.
