Molak Corporation, a Texas-based hospitality company, has rebranded to Momentous Concepts.

Some details: The new name reflects the legacy of founder Pat “Mo” Molak and the company’s continued evolution. Pat Molak played a significant role in shaping the Gruene Historic District into a nationally recognized destination for live music, dining and cultural tourism, according to a news release.

Under his leadership, the company established a reputation for “authentic Texas hospitality rooted in community, music and place,” the release states.

Susie Molak, owner of Momentous Concepts, said the name change reflects where they came from and where they are going.

“It honors Pat’s vision while embracing the continued growth of the experiences and spaces he helped bring to life,” Susie Molak said in the release.

A collectible card shop has opened its doors inside the party room of Bosses Pizza, Wings & Burgers in New Braunfels.

What you need to know: Owner Vo Nguyen opened Bosses Card Lounge on May 16 at 263 Loop 337. Bosses Card Lounge sells retro toys and collectible cards for sports such as basketball, hockey and soccer.

The card lounge also sells action figures.

Three new businesses providing birth support and chiropractic services are now open in New Braunfels.

Breaking it down: With Heart and Hands Chiropractic, Moon Water Midwifery and Amazing Baby 3D Ultrasound opened within the Gruene Lake Village shopping area Feb. 2.

With Heart and Hands Chiropractic is owned by Jasmine Sauceda, a family, nervous system-based chiropractor specializing in women's health, pregnancy and postpartum care. Sauceda offers in-office and at-home chiropractic care along with birthing support.

Moon Water Midwifery also opened its doors under the same roof. Owned by Ember Miller-Adair, the business offers newborn care, postpartum care, doula care, placenta encapsulation and more.

The third business now open in the space is Amazing Baby 3D Ultrasound, which is owned by Ellen Leone. Amazing Baby 3D Ultrasound offers diagnostic and elective ultrasound services for expecting families.

Dozens of federal, state and local primary campaigns will come to a close May 26 as Texas voters cast ballots in the Republican and Democratic runoff elections.

How it works: Texas held its primary elections in March, with some races advancing to an overtime round, known as a runoff, after no single candidate picked up more than half of the vote.

On May 26, voters may see statewide offices, state legislative seats, redrawn congressional districts, the State Board of Education and county-level positions on their ballots. The winner of each runoff race will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.

At the polls: Polling places across Texas will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 26. Voters in the following counties in Community Impact’s coverage areas can vote at any polling location within their county of residence: Bastrop, Bexar, Brazoria, Brazos, Collin, Comal, Fort Bend, Galveston, Guadalupe, Harris, Hays, Tarrant, Travis and Williamson.

Registered voters in other counties are required to visit a polling place specific to their voting precinct.
