Texas Tabletop Society to offer gathering space featuring 1,000+ board games in Frisco

Texas Tabletop Society is set to open Dec. 26 in Frisco, business Co-Owner Reggie Bradshaw said.

Zooming in: The business will be a family-friendly space and feature a growing library of more than 1,000 modern board games.

Quote of note: “To make the experience effortless, our staff provides full white-glove service, including game setup and cleanup. They’re trained to help visitors discover new games, learn the rules or find tutorial videos if preferred,” the business owners said.

Check out these new restaurants and bars opening across the Dallas - Fort Worth area.

Wabi House in Keller is offering free ramen and matcha for its grand opening Dec. 5. There will be live DJs and liquor testing at the event, which is open to the public.

The restaurant menu focuses mainly on ramen noodles like tonkotsu, spicy miso, shoyu, dry garlic and tsukumen. Wabi House also has yakitori, a skewer with different meat options, and small plates like takoyaki and bone marrow crab.

The menu at Taiwanese restaurant Tao Rice Roll includes rice rolls, pancakes, sticky rice, wonton soup and more.

Tao Rice Roll, which opened in November in McKinney, also has locations in Plano, Houston, Sugarland and College Station.
