A tech company is expanding its Richardson facility and the Einstein Bros. Bagels Terminal A location at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is set to undergo renovations. Check out some of the latest North Texas construction projects filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
1. Celestica expansion in Richardson: The tech company Celestica is expanding its Richardson facility with a new 225,000-square-foot building, according to TDLR documents. An estimated 2,300 jobs will be created in the process, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Location: 2801 Telecom Parkway, Richardson Estimated timeline: Sept. 3, 2026-March 15, 2027 Estimated cost: $70 million
2. New Advantage Storage in Frisco: The self-storage company Advantage Storage is opening a new location along Hollyhock Road. The location will come with two two-story buildings and two single-story buildings, per the TDLR filing. Location: Southeast corner of US 380 and Hollyhock Road, Frisco Estimated timeline: Oct. 1, 2026-Sept. 30, 2029 Estimated cost: $7.7 million
