Pace Golf Lounge to bring golf simulators to Trophy Club

Jordan Mittie recently moved to Roanoke and realized he was driving nearly 40 minutes to use an indoor golf simulator.

That led to his idea of Pace Golf Lounge, which garnered approval from the town of Trophy Club Council during the Aug. 25 meeting.

What's happening? Council had to approve indoor commercial amusement use and bar/tavern use in Planned Development District 13.

Mittie and his wife, Regan, looked at ideas to start a business and found an opening at the Shoppes of Trophy Club in the former location of Zoom Room.

“I’m a big golfer; I use these businesses,” Jordan Mittie said. “I was shocked that there wasn't anything close. Just knowing the golf culture up here, again, I was really surprised. We've been wanting to start a business for a while and thought this was a great opportunity here.”
