1. inLIFE Wellness

A new Pilates studio, inLIFE Wellness, plans to open its doors in Flower Mound early this year, said Aneesa Patel, director of the Flower Mound location.

The business offers classes based on reformer Pilates, which combines a typical Pilates class with strength, cardio and barre exercise modalities, or types of exercises. Instructors at inLIFE Wellness are also encouraged to bring creativity to each session, Patel said.

2. The Vital Stretch
Health and wellness studio Vital Stretch will open its first Dallas-Fort Worth location this year, franchisee Vivek Karnik said.
The business specializes in assisted stretching to promote flexibility and mobility for clients, Karnik said. The business has other locations in San Antonio, Austin and Houston, Karnik added.

Zio Al’s serves pizza, wings in Flower Mound

Zio Al’s opened the doors of a new location in Flower Mound in mid-December.

What's on the menu: Zio Al’s serves pizza, pasta, wings, calzones, salads and sub sandwiches, according to its website.

One more thing: The restaurant has several other North Texas locations, including in Richardson, Plano and McKinney.

Madras Mojo offers curries, sweet dishes in Colleyville

Madras Mojo is now serving South Indian dishes in Colleyville.

The gist: The restaurant serves fried chicken, curries and biryani, which is a rice dish with meat or vegetables. Guests can also create their own bowl by choosing a rice, curry, appetizer and salad.

“[Madras Mojo] is set in a warm, stylish and inviting ambience that complements its modern concept while welcoming guests for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience,” owners Shyamli Pavuluri and Prasanth Pavuluri said. “Madras Mojo aims to become a go-to destination for authentic South Indian flavors.”

Joint restaurant IHOP, Applebees coming to Dallas Love Field Airport

Dallas Love Field Airport will be gaining a new restaurant this month, though an opening date has not been determined, said Lauren Rounds, the external communications and marketing manager for the airport. 

A joint restaurant containing IHOP and Applebees will be located on the public side of the terminal, between the Transportation Security Administration screening area and the baggage claim hallway, she said. 

The diner will be where the former Bruegger’s Bagels was located, which closed in August, Rounds said.
