Plano commission approves easements for new Plano West Senior High School corridors

Plano’s Planning and Zoning commission approved easements and a new site plan for renovations at Plano West Senior High School at a meeting June 15.

The details: The revised site plan has four proposed corridors to connect existing buildings at the school. Plano Associate Planner Ana Sutter said the change in easements are needed for the new additions.

Yo! Bowl to bring southwest Chinese flavors to Plano

Chinese noodle restaurant Yo! Bowl is set to open a new location in Plano, according to a news release from the company.

The specifics: Yo! Bowl offers customizable bowls that feature mifen, a traditional southwest Chinese rice noodle. Customers can select their preferred broth, protein, vegetables, toppings and spice level.

Quote of note: “I wanted to introduce a dish that I grew up with and make it approachable for everyone,” Founder Xinran Xu said in the release. “Whether someone likes spicy food, mild flavors, soup or dry noodles, they can create a bowl that fits their own taste.”

Bojangles sets opening date for Celina location

Bojangles will open in Celina on June 23.

The franchise is known for Cajun-seasoned fried chicken with sides like buttermilk biscuits, fries and dirty rice.

Bojangles’s Celina location will hold its grand opening at 5 a.m., and the first 100 dine-in customers will receive a $100 Bojangles gift card, Batt said.

Toasted Simple offers simple syrups infused with toasted food at East McKinney shop

A new storefront for simple syrup company Toasted Simple is now open in East McKinney.

The business, which was founded just over five years ago, makes simple syrups infused with real toasted food. The East McKinney shop offers cocktails and mocktails made with Toasted Simple syrups.

PS offers private luxury facility with transportation to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

PS, formerly The Private Suites, has opened its location at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

The Los Angeles-based company used Dallas-based designer Jean Liu for its third terminal in the United States, joining Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

PS offers a terminal option with private TSA and customs clearance, luxury spaces and white-glove service before and after your flight, according to its website.

The details: The 12,200-square-foot facility is located in Corporate Aviation, DFW Airport terminals. PS is membership-based with annual and per-visit costs, which allows access to a private lounge, food, drinks and chauffeur services.

A closer look: PS DFW’s location features The Salon, a social lounge with a 40-foot bar. Dallas-based artist Amy Berlin created the mural inside The Salon.
