National chiropractor franchise HealthSource set to open in Missouri City

A new option for holistic, patient-focused chiropractic care is coming to Missouri City.

About the company: Founded in 2006, Ohio-based HealthSource has over 130 locations across the country, including six in the Houston area, a representative confirmed.

What they offer: Franchisee Michael Case, who has a personal connection to the industry from his chiropractor grandfather, said HealthSource's approach goes beyond traditional symptom-based care. Each patient receives a thorough evaluation of posture, gait, movement patterns and progressive strain, combined with evidence-based chiropractic care and rehabilitation.

“If you’re not addressing the holistic problem, then you’re basically just treating the [back pain] symptom and not necessarily the cause,” he said. “[Holistic care] allows you to build up the strength in your body so that it holds the adjustments and minimizes the propensity for recurrence."

Moving forward: The clinic will be the first of three clinics planned for the South Houston area, Case said.
