The Brunch District: 
Their menu includes Southern and Tex-Mex breakfast classics like steak and eggs, loaded grits and migas, as well as lunch options like sandwiches and salads. The eatery also has locations in Colleyville, McKinney and Addison.

Kame Sushi: The sushi restaurant offers sushi, nigiri, sashimi, towers and more. It also serves sake, cocktails and Japanese whisky.

Frenchies Modern Nail Care: 
The business is a modern nail care studio that focuses on healthy nail care. The studios are typically light, open and airy, according to the company’s website. Memberships are available for those looking for regular nail care.

Indoor play space Cloudbound now open in Frisco

Cloudbound, a new indoor play experience designed for young children, is now open in Frisco.

Zooming in: The 10,000-square-foot facility offers slides, climbing structures, building-block zones and more. In addition to play areas, Cloudbound will also offer a full-service cafe, lounge-style seating areas, nursing rooms and party rooms for birthdays and special events.

1845 Mercantile to offer Texas goods in Frisco's Rail District

1845 Mercantile is opening soon in Frisco’s Rail District. 

What they offer: The business will offer goods that are Texas and Frisco inspired. Items include clothing, accessories, books, trinkets and more. The store will also feature large canvas prints of historic Frisco throughout the space.

US 75 crossing, Bonnie Brae renovation: See 5 DFW road construction updates

Stay informed on five transportation projects around Dallas-Fort Worth.

1. US 75 at Arapaho Road crossing enhancements
Project: Work will include Arapaho Trail improvements, pedestrian lighting, new ramps, a DART bus stop connection and a trail connection under US 75 with a barrier wall between a relocated U-turn lane.
Update: The project is currently under final design.

  • Timeline: fall 2026-winter 2027
  • Cost: $4.9 million
  • Funding source: city of Richardson

2. First Street widening
Project: First Street will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street.
Update: Construction began May 20, according to the project website.
  • Timeline: spring 2026-fall 2027
  • Cost: $27.8 million
  • Funding source: town of Prosper
