In the Democratic primary for Texas House District 98 Cate Brennan received 9,920 votes, representing 78.15% of the vote, compared to Aaron Hendley's 2,774 votes, representing 21.85%. Mizani will face Brennan in the November election with the winner serving a two-year term starting in January 2027.

Bean garnered 129,233 votes, or 79.35%, in the Democratic primary for county clerk, compared to Gregoire Lewis' 33,639 votes, or 20.65%.

What else: Voters also cast ballots in the Republican and Democratic primaries for county judge.

The final three precincts for Tarrant County reported just after 7:30 a.m., and Tim O'Hare won the Republican primary race for Tarrant County judge

O'Hare secured 116,746 votes, or 87.6%. Robert Trevor Buker took 12.4% of the votes with 16,527, according to unofficial results from Tarrant County.

The details: O’Hare is the incumbent for the position and is running for his second term as Tarrant County judge. Buker is a behavioral health security officer and has experience as a Republican precinct chair.

Alisa Simmons has nearly 90,000 votes with 68 of 199 precincts reporting in Tarrant County.

Simmons is running against former Fort Worth Mayoral candidate Millennium Anton C. Woods Jr. Marc Veasey, former Texas and U.S. House Representative, initially filled but dropped out. However, he is still on the ballot.

What you need to know: The Precinct 2 Commissioner has 87,478 votes, or 61.30% of the vote, holding steady to the lead she has maintained since early voting numbers were released. Marc Veasey has nearly 40,000 votes with 38,825, or 26.79%, and Millennium Anton C. Woods Jr. is third with 16,989, or 11.91%.

Results remain unofficial until canvassed at a later date.

David Wylie and Valerie Roehrs will head to a runoff election to earn the Republican candidacy for Denton County Commissioners Court, Precinct 4 seat.

The details: With all Denton County precincts reporting, Wylie garnered 9,147 votes, or 36.86% of the votes cast. Roehrs had 5,750 votes, which is 23.17% of the ballots.

Gerard Hudspeth was less than 250 votes behind Roehrs with 5,536, or 22.31, and incumbent Dianne Edmondson has 4,381, or 17.66%

Because none of the candidates earned at least 50% of the votes, the race will go to a runoff race for the top-two candidates who had the most votes. Wylie and Roehrs will face off May 26.

Andy Hopper, Julie Evans and Jared Patterson have won their respective Texas House of Representatives primary races, according to unofficial results.

What you need to know: Hopper garnered 15,786 votes, or 70%, defeating Lisa McEntire in the District 64 Republican race. Hopper, the incumbent, will face Democrat Evans in November. Evans received 7,777 votes, or 54%, in the Democratic primary, while Christie Wood received 6,540 votes.

Also of note: Patterson, the District 106 incumbent, received 10,486 votes, or 54%, in the Republican primary, defeating Larry Brock and Rick Abraham, who received 6,665 and 2,413 votes, respectively. Patterson will face Democrat Joe Mayes, who ran unopposed in the primary, in the November election.

District 3: This district in the U.S. House includes the cities of Frisco, Prosper, Celina, McKinney, Plano and Allen.

According to unofficial voting results with the Texas Secretary of State's office, Keith Self won in the Republican primary with 63,443 votes, or 80.17% of the vote. His opponent, Mark Newgent received 15,691 votes.

Self will appear again on the November ballot against Democratic candidate Evan Hunt, who ran unopposed in the primary election.

District 4: This district in the U.S. House includes the cities of Frisco, Prosper, Celina, McKinney, Plano and Allen.

For the Democratic primary Jason Pearce came from behind after early voting numbers were released and captured 23,475 votes, or 51.97%. Challenger Andrew L. Rubell picked up 21,692 votes.

On the Republican side, incumbent Pat Fallon won his primary race with 59,618 votes, or 80.62%. His challenger, Don Horn, has 14,330 votes.

Pearce and Fallon will face each other in the November election.

With 253 of Texas' 254 counties reporting some election results, three statewide Republican primary races are headed to runoffs, while candidates had decisive leads in other races.

The details: The Republican primary contests for U.S. Senate, attorney general and railroad commissioner appear to be heading to May runoffs, unofficial election returns showed.

Incumbent John Cornyn and state attorney general Ken Paxton will face each other in a runoff to determine who will be the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate after neither candidate cleared the 50% threshold required to avoid an additional round. In the attorney general race, state Sen. Mayes Middleton, R-Galveston, and U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Austin, will face off in an overtime round.

Incumbent Jim Wright and former Tarrant County GOP chair Bo French will compete in a runoff for railroad commissioner. All primary runoffs will take place on May 26, according to the secretary of state.

With 249 of Texas' 254 counties reporting some election results early March 4, state Rep. James Talarico, D-Austin, held a steady lead over U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Dallas, in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

What to know: Talarico led Crockett by nearly eight percentage points in the early hours of March 4, with the Austin Democrat holding 53.28% of the vote over Crockett's 45.45% in the Democratic primary race for U.S. Senate. Ahmad R. Hassan was in a distant third place with 1.27% of the vote, per unofficial returns.

State legislators also led the Democratic primary races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and comptroller, unofficial results showed, although some of those contests had not been called as of press time.

Something to note: Republicans currently hold all statewide offices in Texas and no Democrat or third-party candidate has won a statewide seat since 1994, election records show.
