Andy Hopper, Julie Evans and Jared Patterson have won their respective Texas House of Representatives primary races, according to unofficial results.
What you need to know: Hopper garnered 15,786 votes, or 70%, defeating Lisa McEntire in the District 64 Republican race. Hopper, the incumbent, will face Democrat Evans in November. Evans received 7,777 votes, or 54%, in the Democratic primary, while Christie Wood received 6,540 votes.
Also of note: Patterson, the District 106 incumbent, received 10,486 votes, or 54%, in the Republican primary, defeating Larry Brock and Rick Abraham, who received 6,665 and 2,413 votes, respectively. Patterson will face Democrat Joe Mayes, who ran unopposed in the primary, in the November election.
All results remain unofficial until canvassed at a later date.
