Entertainment, community take center stage at Richardson Theatre Centre

Founded in 1986, Richardson Theatre Centre has stood the test of time. Artistic Director Rachael Lindley attributes the nonprofit organization's longevity to two key factors.

“I think it is always striving for high quality production—everything we put on that stage—it's important that it's the best we can possibly do,” Lindley said. ”And then the same thing with customer service, when they walk in the door they need the very best customer service they can get.”

On the playbill: RTC performs six productions a year. Rehearsals run about five weeks and productions run four. Genres of plays include comedies, dramas, thrillers and a Christmas-themed show.

As a result, current H-E-B Chief Operating Officer Roxanne Orsak will take his place.

Zooming in: Orsak started her career at H-E-B in 1988 as a store manager, rising through the ranks to become the COO in 2022, according to the release.

“I am honored to continue to shape the future of this great company with integrity, heart and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” Orsak said.

The context: The leadership change comes in tandem with H-E-B’s continued expansion in Texas.
