Repair work on a broken water main at the corner of Belt Line Road and Plano Road in Richardson is planned for Aug. 5-8, according to a news release from the city.

What you need to know: The original break in the middle of the intersection occurred “about two weeks ago,” the release states, and the line was isolated and shut off.

Drivers will see the following traffic impacts:

• No right turn on southbound Plano, and one through lane open

• One left-turn lane instead of two open on northbound Plano and eastbound Belt Line

• One through lane and one right-turn lane open on westbound Belt Line

Construction is set to begin on a new Back Nine golf simulator location in Richardson this month, according to a project listed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The details: Work on the space at 1920 N. Coit Road, Ste. 220, is expected to be completed in late October.

The membership-based indoor golf training facility has 200 locations across the country, including spots in Plano, Allen and McKinney.

WareSpace is holding a grand opening ceremony on Aug. 6.

What you need to know: The company, which leases warehouse space to small businesses, is opening in the former Fry’s Electronics building at the corner of US 75 and President George Bush Turnpike.

The 174,500-square-foot building can house space for more than 160 companies, according to a news release from Warespace. The company also has locations in Addison, Fort Worth and North Richland Hills.

1. Prosper Trail construction
Project: Prosper Trail will undergo a full pavement reconstruction from Coit Road to Custer Road. The new pavement section will be a four-lane concrete divided roadway.
Update: The design phase is nearing completion, and construction is expected to begin in summer 2028.
