Early voting starts June 1 for Frisco's mayoral runoff election

Early voting starts June 1 for the race for Frisco mayor. 

Frisco residents will elect a new mayor in a runoff election. Early voting runs June 1-9, and election day is June 13. 

On the ballot: Two candidates continue to vie for the mayoral seat in Frisco. Rod Vilhauer and Mark Hill topped a four-man race for mayor in May. They now face off in the runoff.

1. Cafe Meltie
The Korean and French inspired cafe offers a variety of coffee, tea and juice. A Cafe Meltie store worker said they also have pastry options, including their creme croissants, their most popular pastry. Some coffee options include lattes, their caramel macchiato and cappuccinos. Cafe Meltie also has tea and juice options like green tea and grapefruit-ade.

2. Desperados
The restaurant serves a variety of tacos from shrimp and fish to brisket and grilled beef. Other dishes include flautas, chili relleno and enchiladas according to its menu. Some of its desserts include flan and its cuatro leches cake made in-house. The Plano location is one of three in the Dallas-Fort Worth area according to its website.
