What you need to know: Early voting begins April 20 and runs through April 28, according to the Texas Secretary of State's website. Election day is May 2. In Montgomery County, voters can cast their ballot at any polling location during early voting. However, on election day, voters must vote at their designated voting precincts. Harris County voters can vote at any polling location during both early voting and on election day.

Classic Mode Toys and Games now open in Conroe

Classic Mode Toys and Games is now open in Conroe, owner Chris Helms confirmed.

The gist: The store is centered on classic styles of games, such as Monopoly, Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon, Helms said. Classic Mode Toys and Games also hosts collecting and trading nights alongside tournaments.

Quote of note: “Our goal is to be family-friendly, so parents 'want' to bring their kids in and play/learn/collect new games,” Helms said via email. “The biggest thing is, we want people to enter as strangers and leave as friends.”
