Houlihan’s in Denton will be open both on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The restaurant features a full bar with beer, wine and cocktail options, and its menu offers chicken wings, sandwiches, burgers and seafood.

Cold Stone Creamery to sell frozen treats in Rayzor Ranch Marketplace

A Cold Stone Creamery will be opening in the Rayzor Ranch Marketplace shopping center.

The gist: Renovations for the ice cream shop will start Jan. 2 and are expected to be finished by March 1, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Cold Stone Creamery is known for taking ice cream, spreading it on a marble slab and mixing in extra treats, such as candy and cookie pieces. The chain has multiple flavors of ice cream and a variety of mix-ins for countless flavor combinations, according to its website.
