Georgetown-based Caring Senior Service offers personalized at-home care

Dustin Rauch's first experience as a caregiver came from helping his mother who had ALS, a role that led him to pursue a 12-year career in physical therapy. His wife, Rebecca Rauch, also cared for her grandfather overnight while she was working as a physical therapist.

The pair decided to harness their experience and transition into the caregiving field full time three years ago, opening their first Caring Senior Service location in Waco in 2022.

What they offer: The couple launched their second location in Georgetown earlier this year offering companion care, dementia care and personal care, including helping with tasks such as getting dressed, grooming and mobility. Additionally, the business has a virtual care option that uses auditory technology to monitor safety.

Learn more: The business employs about 40 caregivers, who receive hands-on training. Additionally, each client is assigned a singular caregiver to make them more comfortable and provide consistency, Dustin Rauch said.
