Prosper OKs street repairs across several neighborhoods

Prosper residents can expect to see new construction starting soon. 

Prosper Town Council approved funding to repair concrete panels at various locations in the Windsong Ranch, Star Trail and Lakes of Prosper subdivisions, at their Dec. 9 meeting,

Zooming in: According to town documents, existing concrete panels at several locations in the subdivision have sunk, “creating low spots where water holds.”  The work will include injecting polymer to stabilize and “void fill” each of the panels to improve the conditions. 

Looking ahead: Once started, town documents state work is estimated to take approximately 30 days.

Nothing Bundt Cakes to open second Prosper location

Nothing Bundt Cakes could be opening a new Prosper location, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. 

What you need to know: The store is planned to be near the intersection of U.S. 380 and Gee Road, according to the filing. Construction is estimated to wrap up in February, according to the filing. 

One more thing: Nothing Bundt Cakes offers a variety of personal cakes and mini bundt cakes sold by the dozen, including flavors like lemon raspberry, chocolate chip and red velvet.

Here is the real estate data for Frisco from November 2024 to November 2025. The data includes number of homes sold, median home sales price, average days on the market, number of new listings and more.

The details: In Frisco, 144 homes were sold with a majority of those homes sold in the $400,001-$700,000 price range. The total is down from the year before, which saw 168 homes sold.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport looks to add 14 new shops, restaurants across 4 terminals

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport announced a request for proposal to add 14 new retail and dining locations in multiple terminals.

According to a news release, the airport concession program seeks local brands and flavors that represent North Texas tastes, character and creativity. The request for proposal is open through Feb. 2 for 11 food and beverage locations, and three specialty retail stores.

What they’re saying: “As we build new gates, reimagine existing spaces and construct a new Terminal F, DFW Airport is committed to showcasing our region through our shops and restaurants so that when people travel through our terminals, there’s no denying they have arrived in the heart of Dallas and Fort Worth,” said Ken Buchanan, DFW’s chief revenue officer.

The details: The concepts for food range from fast-food, fast-casual, grab-and-go concepts to frozen treats, popcorn, cosmetic and specialty retail, according to a news release. The locations will be in terminals A, B, E and F.
