Magnolia Made, an apparel brand owned and operated by local Ryan Perkins, officially launched an online store. The clothing brand is inspired by the people and places of Magnolia. 

Two-minute impact: Magnolia Made officially launched its online apparel brand on Aug. 14. Perkins said that his motivation for starting Magnolia Made was to highlight the people and stories of Magnolia. 

“Magnolia has history you can feel, but it also has new stories being written every day,” said Perkins. “We wanted to make something that feels at home with the families who have been here for generations and the families who are just beginning their story here. The goal is simple: make apparel people actually want to wear because it feels like home.”

One more thing: The brand offers a wide variety of clothing options for men, women and children. Perkins said that all items are made to order the moment a customer purchases them online.

EōS Fitness officials said the fitness center has plans to expand with a new 40,000-square-foot location in the Grand Parkway Center.

The details: Located between the intersection of the Grand Parkway and SH 249, per officials the new EōS Fitness center plans to open in 2027.

Based in Dallas, EōS Fitness has 33 open locations across Houston, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and San Antonio, with plans to expand into Austin.

What they offer: EōS Fitness offers a variety of weightlifting equipment, cardio equipment and personal training options. Other amenities offered include:

This November, Libertarian Ted Brown, Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico are running to be Texas' next U.S. senator.

The overview: Each state has two U.S. senators serving staggered terms, with Ted Cruz and John Cornyn currently representing Texas. Cornyn ran for reelection but lost his primary race, and the winner of the November election will replace him in January.

Paxton advanced to the general election after beating Cornyn in a primary runoff, while Talarico beat two other contenders in the Democratic primary, Community Impact reported. Brown was selected as the Texas Libertarian Party's candidate during an April nominating convention.

At the polls: Early voting runs from Oct. 19-30 for dozens of statewide and local races. Election Day is Nov. 3.
