Nay Restaurant & Coffee smoking permit denied in Richardson Richardson City Council denied a special permit for Nay Restaurant & Coffee that would have allowed hookah smoking on the patio. Council unanimously denied the permit during its Aug. 11 meeting. The restaurant, located at 2100 Alamo Road, opened in April.
Plano drivers will experience a change in school zones near Jasper High School, Robinson Middle School and Gulledge Elementary School.
What you need to know: The school zone on Legacy just north of the campuses will no longer be in effect during elementary times, while the zone on Coit Road near its intersection with Denham Way will now serve Gulledge students, according to city documents.

The Goddard School opens new Frisco Legacy location
A new location for The Goddard School in Frisco has opened.
The overview: The Goddard School of Frisco Legacy is a 10,000 square foot facility with 10 classrooms and has the ability to provide care for approximately 140 students, according to a Sept. 8 news release. The school will add 20 teaching jobs to the Frisco community, the release stated.
