Klein ISD, TxDOT partner for new traffic light along FM 2920

A new traffic light will be installed near a Klein ISD event venue along FM 2920 in Klein.

Major takeaways: KISD trustees unanimously approved an agreement for the traffic light project between the district and the Texas Department of Transportation during the board’s regular Oct. 7 meeting. A timeline for this project has not yet been announced.

What else?: The traffic light will be installed at the intersection of FM 2920 and the driveway for the Klein Multipurpose Center. The project is expected to cost $500,000.

Old Town Spring women’s clothing store Totaleigh Twisted Boutique to close

Local women’s clothing boutique, Totaleigh Twisted, is preparing to close shop at the end of November.

“After many sleepless nights, we have made the very difficult decision to close our doors,” the announcement reads on the business social media page. “This chapter in our lives has been filled with incredible memories and friendships. We are so grateful for every visit, every purchase and every conversation. 

The details
: The clothing store was first established in 2020 under the name Sassy Sister’s Boutique, then changed its name to Totaleigh Twisted Boutique by 2022, according to the business’s social media page. Items sold at the store included women’s clothing, accessories, shoes and home decor. 

One more thing
: As part of the upcoming closure, store officials announced Oct. 5 on social media that the entire store is on sale, including online purchases.
