See early voting results for the Jersey Village bond election

With Harris County early voting results released, here's how the three Jersey Village bond propositions are holding up. 

At a glance: Unofficial early voting results show 54.41% of voters against the $21.6 million Jersey Village city campus bond referendum on the Nov. 4 ballot, with 636 early and absentee votes against the proposition. In favor of the bond proposition are 533 early and absentee votes, or 45.59% of those votes.

Additionally, results show 64.19% of voters in favor of a $20 million bond for wastewater and sewer infrastructure improvements but 51.45% of voters against a $6.5 million bond for the construction of a city pool. All results are unofficial until canvassed.

See unofficial early voting results for Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees

With early voting results released, Lesley Guilmart, Cleveland Lane Jr. and Kendra Camarena showed a lead in the unofficial results of the Cy-Fair ISD trustee election.

What you need to know: According to early voting results released by the Harris County Clerk’s Office, Guilmart holds a lead for Position 5 to replace trustee Natalie Blasingame, who filed to run for Position 6 instead.

Also of note: In the race for position 6, Cleveland Lane Jr. is ahead of incumbent Scott Henry and challenger Natalie Blasingame, who left her seat in Position 5 to run in Position 6. Kendra Camarena is also leading in the race for Position 7 against challengers Elecia Jones and George Edwards Jr.

Property taxes, bail rules, water funding: Early voting results in for 17 Texas propositions

Texas voters weighed in on 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution during the Nov. 4 election.

The overview: Some of the state propositions on the ballot included:

  • Proposition 1: new funding to support the Texas State Technical College System
  • Proposition 3: tighter restrictions on when Texas judges can grant bail for felony offenses
  • Proposition 4: $20 billion for water supply projects and infrastructure
  • Proposition 9: a $125,000 property tax exemption for businesses
  • Propositions 11 and 13: expanded property tax exemptions for Texas homeowners
  • Proposition 14: $3 billion to create a state dementia research institute
