The Melting Pot now offering fondue in Allen’s Watters Creek Village An Allen location of The Melting Pot is now open and offering an interactive dining experience. The eatery, which is located in Watters Creek Village, offers a signature four-course dining experience featuring both cheese and chocolate fondue courses. The Florida-based company has nearly 90 locations across 30 states, and the Allen restaurant is the third Melting Pot in North Texas, a company news release states.

Maman to serve coffee, pastries in Southlake A new French-inspired cafe, Maman, is planning to open a location in Southlake. Construction on the new location could start in October and wrap up in January 2027, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The estimated cost of the finish out for the 2,517-square-foot coffee shop is $400,000. Maman’s menu includes a selection of coffees and teas, according to its website. Customers can also order pastries, sandwiches and salads.
