Beth Marie’s brings old fashioned ice cream to new communities

Beth Marie’s opened in 1998 with owners Beth Marie and Dr. Randy Cox on the Denton Square. Willis and business partners Bob Moses and Pat Engelbrecht purchased the store in 2003 and have since opened locations in Grapevine, Carrollton and Unicorn Lake.

What’s on the menu: Beth Marie’s offers a rotating selection of around 190 flavors of its small batch ice cream, many of them created by Willis.

The local impact: The reason Beth Marie’s has stayed successful is because of its involvement in the local communities, Willis said. He explained it's a form of guerrilla marketing driven by genuine care for the communities.

New Southwest flights, rental car service: Check out these updates at Love Field

New flight routes from Southwest Airlines and a rental car service branch expansion are among the new updates at Dallas Love Field.

Take a look at several recent announcements from the airport.

New Southwest flights: Beginning June 5, 2027, Southwest will launch non-stop service between Dallas Love Field and Richmond International Airport, according to an airport social media post.

Southwest also announced a seasonal service connecting Dallas to Bozeman, Montana, to start in the summer of 2027.

In the fall of 2027, all flights will have access to Starlink WiFi, as well, according to a Southwest press release.

NetJets private terminal: Private jet operator NetJets will expand its footprint at Love Field with a private terminal that will open in late 2028, according to an Oct. 12 news release.

The $35 million project will take over 80,000 square feet of space and include new aircraft hangar E, a private passenger terminal, shops and office space, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. The project will also renovate parking, landscaping and utilities.
