The Carroll ISD board of trustees approved a $2,000 stipend for full-time employees at a Sep. 22 CISD board meeting.
The stipend is dependent on passing the district’s voter-approval tax rate election in November, which district officials expect to bring in $3.8 million in operational funding if it passes.
In a nutshell: CISD Human Resources Executive Director Melanie Kibodeaux initially recommended the stipend at a Sep. 15 work session. It includes a $2,000 payment in two $1,000 installments for all full-time employees at CISD to be paid out in November, 2024 and April 2025, Kibodeaux said.
Part-time employees will receive half that amount in two $500 payments.
