Fort Worth City Council unanimously adopted the Master Transportation Plan at the June 9 meeting.
The 314-page report looks at project lists for 2026, 2030, 2034 and long-term projects, according to city documents.
The outlook: The plan, developed by the city’s Transportation & Public Works Department, will inform future transportation investments by prioritizing projects over a four-year, 10-year and 25-year window for development, funding, design and construction, according to a news release.
Zooming in: Council Districts 4 and 10 have projects in 2026, 2030, 2034 and another on a long-term list that is ranked by priority.
Westport Parkway, between High Mesa Road and SH 170, has nearly $15 million in city, federal and other funding. That project will construct a four-lane divided roadway with a single bridge over a creek.
