Three candidates are running for the Texas House of Representatives District 61 seat in the upcoming Nov. 3 election.

What you need to know: Republican incumbent Keresa Richardson is running against Democratic candidate Brittany Black and Green Party candidate Anissa Chilmeran.

Candidates were asked to keep responses within 50 words, answer the questions provided and avoid attacking opponents. Answers may have been edited or shortened to adhere to those guidelines, or for style and clarity. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Cadence Cyclery is moving to a new downtown McKinney location, said Jackson Eaker, who handles operations and marketing for Cadence Cyclery.

Lite-On manufacturing facility in McKinney: Lite-On Technology Corp., a Taiwan-based manufacturing company that specializes in semiconductor components, is moving into an existing warehouse facility in McKinney, per a TDLR filing. The move will bring at least 600 jobs to the city, per previous reporting.

2. MRI Equipment Replacement at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center—Plano: Officials at the medical center officials are replacing its MRI equipment, per a TDLR filing. Equipment replacement is estimated to last four months.

How we got here: Johnson and Middleton each won their primary runoff elections in May, Community Impact reported, while Oxford was selected as the Texas Libertarian Party's candidate during an April nominating convention.

Looking ahead: Early voting in eight statewide races and dozens of local elections runs from Oct. 19-30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
