The chicken and waffle spot The Waffle Bus has permanently closed its Cypress location at 10615 Fry Road. The business confirmed the closure of the Cypress eatery in a Facebook message.

According to the business's Facebook account, the following details apply to the remaining operations:

• The Waffle Bus's two other Houston locations in the Montrose and Heights areas remain open.

• The eatery's menu continues to include chicken and waffles, burgers, waffle fries and waffle sandwiches.

Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones announced that all Flock cameras on precinct property have been decommissioned and taken offline.

The specifics: The cameras, which monitor and record license plates to track vehicles, were located across nine parks and facilities. Precinct 4 previously had 48 security cameras and 13 automatic license plate readers, which have now been covered. The hospital formerly known as St. Luke’s Health held a ribbon cutting for its Vintage-area location Oct. 7 to celebrate its rebranding to CommonSpirit.

Some context: The name change is part of a broader rebranding of St. Luke’s Health hospitals across Texas this month. Along with the new name, the hospital is switching its religious affiliation from Episcopal to Catholic.

The Vintage location, situated at 20171 Chasewood Park Dr., will continue its partnership with Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group.

Latest update: According to Willowbrook Mall officials, the new and upcoming additions include:

• Levi’s, a denim retailer selling jeans, jackets and other clothing, opened near the Apple store on Sept. 17.

• Johnston & Murphy, a clothing and shoe retailer, sells business attire, shoes, bags and leather goods. The store is scheduled to open in November and will replace Michael Kors.

• Willowbrook Convenience is slated to open in November. The convenience store will replace B&B Newsstand and will be located in the mall's Center Court near Macy's.
