1. Blackburn Communities, Wolverine Interests to bring 352-unit multifamily project to Allen: Mississippi-based developer Blackburn Communities and Plano-based developer Wolverine Interests are developing a 352-unit multifamily project in Allen, said Brent Weltner, partner at Blackburn Communities. The community, which is expected to break ground this fall, will offer a variety of floor plans, including one-, two-and three-bedroom units, Weltner said. Amenities will include a pool, a gym, a courtyard with outdoor activities, a coworking space and more.
2. JaRyCo Development celebrates 25 years in Allen: JaRyCo Development celebrated 25 years of offering real estate development services in Allen July 1, President Bruce Heller said. The business’s first project was an office building at 1333 McDermott Drive, Heller said. Since then, JaRyCo Development has worked on Allen projects like the Twin Creeks Medical Center, Twin Creeks Rehab and The Farm, as well as projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, per its website.
