California-based boba tea shop Teaspoon is coming to Denton, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The details: The roughly 1,200-square-foot shop will be at the Rayzor Ranch Marketplace shopping center near I-35 and US 380, the documents state.

Teaspoon’s menu includes several varieties of tea, like Thai tea, honey oolong and cream-infused jasmine green tea. The business also offers pastries and baked goods, including macarons, brownies and coffee cake, per its website.

Looking ahead: The Rayzor Ranch Marketplace location is scheduled to complete construction in late March, according to the TDLR documents.

The details: Magnolia Atelier Mani & Pedi Spa announced on a social media post that it opened at the beginning of November.

The business offers classic manicures and pedicures and the latest in nail art designs and techniques, according to its website. Services are offered for children and men, as well as packages for couples and parents with their children.

The background: According to a state filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, an $80,000 renovation was scheduled to be completed in the spring, as previously reported.

Fast-casual eatery Jason's Deli is celebrating its 50th anniversary by honoring the fresh food, people and communities that have defined the restaurant, officials announced in a Dec. 30 news release.

The background: The deli was founded in 1976 by Joe Tortorice Jr. in Beaumont and has since branched out to 114 Texas locations and 235 delis nationwide in 27 states, per the release.

What's new: According to the release, the eatery is celebrating its anniversary by spotlighting new soups during the National Soup Month of January, while also rolling out new items, including the Deli-Bration Cookie—a sugar cookie topped with sprinkles—and returning others.
