Doug Weiss is leading the race for Pflugerville mayor after receiving 47% of ballots cast during early voting, according to unofficial results from the Travis County Clerk’s Office.
The vote: Candidates Pat McCord, Gregory Harrington and Andy Lindsey received 36%, 13% and 3% of early ballots, respectively. The winner will succeed Mayor Victor Gonzales, who has served three terms allowed by the city charter.
Also on the ballot: In the City Council Place 1 race, Jonathan Coffman leads with 54% of early votes, while Phil Davis has 12%. Write-in candidate Sam Aly has 32% of the votes.
