Colleyville City Council approved the replacement of monument signs and park rule signs across Colleyville parks at the August 4 regular meeting.
The details: The construction of these signs by Legacy Signs of Texas will be phase two of the park signage improvement project. Phase one was approved in June 2025 and included the demolition and construction of new park monument signs at City Park, Kimzey Park, Nature Center Park, and Pleasant Run Park.
The replacements from the park signage improvement project will not exceed $251,655, according to city documents.
Phase two of the park signage project will include updated park rule signs and monument signs in LD Lockett, McPherson, Bransford, Woodbriar, Sparger, Overland and Raegan park. Additionally, two new signs at the Colleyville Nature Center will be built.
Diving deeper: Colleyville Parks and Recreation plans to update park rules signage to include e-bike rules and regulations, according to Lisa Escobedo, the Colleyville Parks and Recreation director.
These signs will include e-bike rules that were adopted at the May 13, 2025 City Council meeting.
