Here’s what Conroe-, Montgomery-area voters need to know before voting in the Nov. 4 election

As early voting begins Oct. 20, here is everything voters in Conroe and Montgomery need to know ahead of the Nov. 4 election.

What residents should know: For the upcoming election, voters should note the following dates:

  • Oct. 20: First day of early voting
  • Oct. 24: Last day to apply for ballot by mail (received, not postmarked)
  • Oct. 31: Last day of early voting
  • Nov. 4: Election Day and the last day to receive ballot by mail (or Nov. 5 if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7 p.m. at location of election)

Also of note: Voters must vote in the county in which they are registered. In Montgomery County, voters can cast their ballot at any polling location during early voting. However, on Election Day, voters must vote at their designated voting precincts.

HTeaO on track to open Conroe location later this year

HTeaO is on track to open a new location in Conroe in late 2025, a business representative confirmed to Community Impact over email.

What they offer: HTeaO offers coffee products, lemonade and tea with over 20 different flavors of sweetened and unsweetened tea including caramel apple, cherry, coconut and peach. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new location will operate in a newly constructed building with a 1,970-square-foot tea bar and a 236-square-foot cooler.

Check out these new restaurants and bars opening across the Houston area.

Paul's Wine Pix is now opening in Bellaire, offering a bottled wine retail list that includes sparkling, rosé, white and red wines, according to the store’s website.

Along with new- and old-world selections of wine, the establishment also offers various food items, including charcuterie boards, sandwiches and pizza.

Bellaire residents Paul Kirchhoff and his parents, Steve and Linnea Kirchhoff, are the owners of Paul’s Wine Pix, which was founded out of Paul’s love for wine and desire to bring a diverse selection of wines to Houston, per the website.

Fruity Temptations is now serving spicy and sweet specialty drinks, street tacos and nachos in Katy.

Along with tacos, the menu features other food items such as hot dogs, hamburgers, quesadillas and Mexican corn, according to its website. Customers can also order chopped fruit served with lemon, salt and Tajin as well as specialty drinks such as the Mangonada or Tamarindo Loco.
