Plano officials are seeking input from residents for the Dallas Stars arena

The city of Plano hosted its first community open house at The Shops at Willow Bend on July 8 for residents to learn more about the incoming Dallas Stars arena.

The city will host its second open house July 14 from 6-8 p.m. Residents can arrive at the event through the Equinox and Crate & Barrel entrance at the mall.

What you need to know: The city is sharing baseline information for residents on traffic, parking, lighting, noise and neighborhood quality of life regulations already available in the city.

DrSnip is now open in Plano

The Seattle-based DrSnip has opened its first Texas location in Plano.

The details: The vasectomy clinic is known for its no-needle, no-scalpel technique and completes the procedure in less than 15 minutes, according to a news release.

Universal Kids Resort opens, offers dining options in each land

Universal Kids Resort is now open in Frisco.

The details: Within the Frisco park there are a number of dining options located within each themed land. 

The seven themed lands include Shrek’s Swamp, SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, TrollsFest, Puss in Boots Del Mar and Isle of Curiosity.
